Angela Smith Wagner is an independent Creative Director, Brand Designer, & Illustrator blending strategy, creativity, and visual identity

Grounded in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and strong creative intuition, Angela leads the development of thoughtful, cohesive brand systems, design work, and illustrations that enable organizations to clearly articulate who they are and connect meaningfully with their audiences. She works with clients ranging from global brands to startups, growing enterprises, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations.

Angela began her career in Boston more than 25 years ago as a designer and art director in advertising and now lives in Maine, where she works independently with a diverse mix of clients. Her work includes projects for Google, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Hilton, ExxonMobil, Ben & Jerry’s, Domino’s and Amtrak, as well as nonprofit organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union and The Nature Conservancy.
